Gravestone Shop
There is a stone shop in my neighborhood which is displaying some stone objects to show their sculptural skill. The shop is primarily making and selling gravestones, but those demonstration works are hilarious.
This kind of stone turtles can be seen often around ponds in Japanese old shrines.
This Doraemon is strange. He looks like wearing the shades.
Godzilla is hanging a sticker for " Protect Children" campaign on his neck.
Please notice the baby dinosaur breaking through the egg behind the hippo and dogs. It's just like the movie Alien.
I can't even imagine how expensive the total royalty for these characters would be.
If you are a Hello Kitty worshipper, this must make your eternal sleep peacefull.

We have a few of the Doraemon and Kitty-chan graves at one of our local temples in Gyouda (行田市, Saitama-ken). I surmise they're meant for kids to amuse themselves with while adults are visiting the family grave plot.

Actually I don't know how much those stuff cost. But I guess the Godzilla would cost about 10 or 20 thousand dollars. You should tell your friend to start saving for it from now on.

Unfortunately, I think it must not be available to ship these heavy stones outside of Japan (or it would cost so much money). How about burying yourself under the ground of this country where Godzilla was born?

Ooooooh, that hippo is absolutely adorable. I could use one of those in my backyard. :D And the Doremon, not the big one with goofy eyes, but the cute small one behind the Hello Kitty. Have them create a website and sell to US. XD

If you know someone in japan who can go buy it for you and then make arrangements to ship by boat, it may take 2 months but the price is actually pretty reasonable - as long as the wait won't kill you :-)
